The Housing of the City of Erie was awarded a Pennsylvania Association of Housing and Redevelopment Agencies (PAHRA) Resident Program Excellence Award of Merit for its FOOD Insecurity Program Initiatives.
HACE, the Second Harvest Food Bank and multiple social service partners provide food and meals to over 500 individuals and families monthly. The Food Insecurity Program Initiative was also a recipient of an Award of Merit for Resident Services from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials at its annual conference in September.
