HUD Regional Administrator Matthew Heckles and Pittsburgh Field Office Director Michael Horvath visited Erie To meet with Housing Authority of the City of Erie Board Members and staff and to tour Housing Authority properties.
Part of their day was spent meeting with Mayor Schember and his administrative team. The HUD officials toured the John E. Horan Garden Apartments, the Quality of Life Learning Center, the Community Health Net Dental Office, the Dafmark Creative Arts Center and met with members of the Community Oriented Police and Probation Services Program.
Executive Director Michael Fraley stated that it was a very positive experience being able to show the HUD officials a small picture of our wonderful neighborhoods and the community partnerships HACE has developed over the years.
