The Housing Authority of the City of Erie Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Wait List will open for applications.
Public notice is hereby given that the Housing Authority of the City of Erie, pursuant to Title 24 CFR 982.206, will open the waiting list for the tenant-based Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8), for very low-income individuals and families from May 13, 2024 through May 17, 2024. Applications will be available at the HCV Program Office, 606 Holland Street, Erie, PA 16501.
Applicants may also apply on our website at www.hace.org on May 13, 2024 at 8:30 am through May 17, 2024 ending at 4:00 pm.
Completed Applications received in the drop box or in person at our office, located at 606 Holland Street, will be accepted after 8:30 am on May 13, 2024 through May 17, 2024 ending at 4:00 pm.
Completed Applications will be accepted by mail, postmarked May 13, 2024 through May 17, 2024.
Completed Applications will only be accepted by mail, drop box, in person or HACE online application, as stated above and as indicated by dates, times and location.
The Housing Authority will assign application numbers using a lottery that will be conducted on June 12, 2024. For assistance, please call 814.456.2028.
