Youth from the John E. Horan Garden and Erie Heights YMCA Kids Club participated in a reading program sponsored by the Erie County Library and the Therapy Dog Program.
The program is designed to help children read out loud in a setting that is made more comfortable because they are reading to their four-legged friend.
The Housing Authority has partnered with the Erie County Library for over 15 years offering this program through Therapy Dogs.
