This has been an exciting and fun filled summer for families living in Housing Authority of the City of Erie (HACE) communities.
There have been Meet Your Neighbor Days, National Night Out Events, on-site recreation programs at the John E. Horan Garden Apartments YMCA Kids Club and the John F. Kennedy Center, the 26th Annual Family Picnic attended by over 1,450 residents and several on-site Senior Celebrations. HACE has partnered with the Son’s of Lake Erie to offer a Learn to Fish Program, the Erie County Library to sponsor a week-long Reading Camp, the C.O.P.P.S. Community Policing Program and Sister Pat Lupo to offer a Nature Camp and the J.C. Martin Golf Club to provide a Mentor Youth Golf Program.
