The Housing Authority of the City of Erie (HACE) partnered with Highmark Wholecare and United Concordia Dental to bring preventative dental care on-site to Housing Authority residents.
Services offered at Schmid Towers included cleaning, X-rays, fluoride treatment, oral health cancer screening, denture cleaning and a comprehensive dental exam. Outreach efforts and appointments were coordinated by HACE and GECAC HomePLUS staff.
The goal was to provide the service to 27 residents. Services were provided to 29 residents.
