Erie Heights

I came to the United States with my family in the summer of 1999 when I was 15. We settled in HACE Erie Heights on Garden Avenue residing there until 2003.

While living in Erie Heights and studying at the Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy, I was a recipient of school attendance certificates from HACE. Upon finishing the Academy as part of its first graduating class of 2001, I joined HACE Youth Club as a Recreational Counselor working there full-time with the HACE Erie Heights youth over the summer of 2001. It’s been a wonderful and unique experience working with the youth that promoted my personal growth and maturity before I began studying at Penn State Behrend in the fall of 2001. While in college, I was a recipient of Louis J. Tullio Memorial scholarships that provided a much needed help to pay for college expenses.

In 2003, I transferred to Penn State Harrisburg as my parents moved to south central Pennsylvania. I majored in Finance being involved in the campus Finance Club, serving there as its Vice President and Director of Marketing. In my senior year, I was an investments intern at Public School Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS).

After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Finance in 2006, I worked in various Data and Financial Analyst roles gradually switching to the Health Care IT field by 2013 then working in the roles of patient and billing data reporting and analysis.
While working full-time, I studied at Clarion University graduating with an MBA in 2015.
Since 2016, continuing in my career in Health Care IT, I’ve been working as a Senior Consultant at Nordic Consulting Partners providing expertise to hospitals across the United States in the health care data extraction, migration, interoperability and external submission including to regulatory agencies.
