Public notice is hereby given that the Housing Authority of the City of Erie, pursuant to Title 24 CFR 982.206, will open the waiting list for the tenant-based Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8), for very low-income individuals and families from May 10, 2021 through May 21, 2021. Applications will be available at the HCV Program Office, 606 Holland Street, Erie, PA 16501.
Applicants may also apply on our website at www.hace.org on May 10, 2021 at 8:30 am through May 21, 2021 at 4:00 pm.
Mailed applications will be accepted postmarked May 10, 2021 through May 21, 2021.
Applications received in the drop box located at 606 Holland Street will be accepted after 8:30 am on May 10, 2021 through May 21, 2021 prior to 4:00 pm.
The Housing Authority will assign application numbers using a lottery that will be conducted on July 9, 2021. For assistance, please call (814) 456-2028.
