HOPE ASPIRES: A Free After-School Program for HACE Kids in Erie

Give your child a place to connect, grow, and have fun after school. The HOPE ASPIRES PAL Program offers kids from HACE families a chance to make friends, build confidence, and connect with caring mentors in a safe, supportive space.
This free after-school program is for third, fourth, and fifth graders. Kids meet at the Eagle’s Nest for activities, encouragement, and experiences that help them learn and grow.

A Supportive Place to Learn and Grow

Every child deserves people who believe in them and chances to discover what they can accomplish. HOPE ASPIRES brings together fun activities and positive relationships to help kids build confidence and feel part of their community.

The C.O.P.P.S. Team and Housing Authority staff act as mentors, offering encouragement and helping create a welcoming place where kids can be themselves.

Through HOPE ASPIRES, participants can:

• Make new friends and strengthen social skills.
• Build confidence through shared activities and experiences.
• Connect with caring, positive mentors.
• Explore opportunities to learn and grow.
• Enjoy time together in a safe, supportive setting.

Program Details

• Who: HACE children in third, fourth and fifth grades.
• When: Wednesdays, 2:30–6:30 p.m.
• Where: Eagle’s Nest School.
• Cost: Free for participants.
• Meals: A snack and dinner are provided.
• Transportation: Free transportation from Edison and Diehl schools to the program, with transportation home afterward.

Free Activities, Meals and Transportation

The program is FREE. Snacks and dinner are included, and we provide transportation from Edison and Diehl schools and back home. HOPE ASPIRES makes it simple for kids to join a meaningful after-school program.
