Chrinesse Mpunga selected as the First Place recipient of the 2020 PAHRA Paul G. Pecharko Memorial Scholarship

Housing Authority of the City of Erie (HACE) resident Chrinesse Mpunga was recently selected as the First Place recipient of the 2020 Pennsylvania Association of Housing and Redevelopment Agencies (PAHRA) Paul G. Pecharko Memorial Scholarship. The $3,000 scholarship is awarded annually. Chrinesse will be entering her Junior year at Gannon University where she has earned Dean’s List Honors all four terms. She is a pre-law major with focus on International Law. She is currently doing internships at the Know Law Firm and the HACE Accounting. She also works at the YMCA Childcare Center. Executive Director Michael Fraley stated that Chrinesse has a dynamic personality that is contagious and he believes that she will have a significant impact in the world accomplishing her stated goal of serving people both in her home country of Democratic Republic Congo and in underserved communities in the United States.
